The aftermath of the Armenian genocide saw thousands of families scattered across the globe in their attempt to find safety and rebuild their lives. While many came straight to America, others stayed near Armenia in the hopes of reclaiming their homeland someday, and left when it became obvious that this would not be possible. Many families were also separated during this time, traveling around the globe in the hopes of being reunited.
